Leg 1: Brionna Jones Over 13.5 Points
First up is Brionna Jones who came up big in her first game with the Atlanta Dream despite the loss, posting a 16-point, 10-rebound double double performance.
As our model expected, her line was too low in that game and though it’s two points higher, our model again believes it’s low for Jones.
The Fever defense came out in full force vs. the Chicago Sky but the Dream have a better roster of scorers, including Jones who gets a 16.7-point projection from the DimersBOT, clearing her mark by a full three points.
One key to Jones’ scoring out put could be her trips to the free throw line – she took 8 shots, though hit just 4, more than double her average attempts from last season.

Leg 2: Kelsey Mitchell Over 16.5 Points
Let’s flip to the other bench and take Kelsey Mitchell, one of Dimers’ 2024 WNBA All-Stars, to clear her points prop of 16.5.
The Dream allowed 90 points to the Washington Mystics in their opening game and the Fever could not be stopped in theirs.
Mitchell tied for third in scoring with 15 points in that game and that was with a full three shot attempts fewer than she averaged last year. The game rapidly became a blowout and this one should be more competitive and high scoring per the Dimers model’s 90-82 finals core prediction, meaning she’s more likely to see her usual shot volume.
The Dream let the Mystics guards drop 55 points between them, putting Mitchell in a good spot to deliver tonight.
Leg 3: Marina Mabrey Under 18.5 Points
We switch gears and go with an under in our final leg, with Suns guard Marina Mabrey projected to go under her 18.5 points line tonight.
Mabrey has averaged 14.4 points per game over her past two seasons between the Sky and Sun, putting up 11 in her season debut vs. the Mystics.
She shot poorly, hitting just 5 of her 21 attempts, going a brutal 1-8 from three, outscored by both Tina Charles and Olivia Nelson-Ododa who played 10 fewer minutes.
The Aces gave up 92 points to the Liberty in their debut, but one area they played well in was defending the three, holding the Liberty to 4-21 beyond the arc.
With a projection of just 14.1 from the DimersBOT, we’re fading Mabrey in her second game of the season.
