Weak Hero Class 2 — released on April 25, 2025 — has topped Netflix‘s Top 10 TV Shows in India list in less than a week since its hotly anticipated premiere, and deservedly so. The second instalment of Weak Hero Class 1 kicks off where the coming-of-age action thriller K-drama’s terrific first season left us, depicting the aftermath of Yeon Sieun’s (Park Ji Hoon) ruthless actions.
This time around, a grief-stricken Sieun transfers to Eunjang High School as he continues to grapple with the trauma of failing to protect his best friend Ahn Suho (Choi Hyun Wook), who has been comatose for months. Struggling amid a whole new environment that feels oddly familiar, Sieun finds solace in his amicable classmates Park Humin aka Baku (Ryeoun), Seo Juntae (Choi Min Young) and Go Hyeontak (Lee Min Jae).
The trio manage to melt the “ice princess” heart of Sieun, but greater violence beckons in the form of The Union, a powerful school gang alliance, led by Na Baekjin (Bae Na Ra) and Geum Seongje (Lee Jun Young). When his close ones are at risk yet again, Sieun is determined to fight the bullies to death. The question that arises: Who comes out on top? And is Suho alive or dead?
Weak Hero Class 2 ending explained
Who dies in Weak Hero Class 2?
In Weak Hero Class 2’s finale, Baku challenges his frenemy Baekjin to an Eunjang vs The Union brawl. If Baku defeats Baekjin, it would mark a definitive end of The Union. While Baku and Baekjin duke it out, Sieun is tricked by a philandering Seongje and beaten to a pulp at Baekjin’s bowling alley. However, Juntae comes to Sieun’s rescue as the latter escapes to aid Baku.
During Baku and Baekjin’s hellish showdown, the latter manages to overpower his former best friend as The Union hollers itself as the winner. Baekjin proclaims Eunjang to now be a part of The Union and challenges anyone to retort. In the nick of time, Sieun arrives and gets embroiled in a brutal scuffle with Baekjin. Just when it feels like Baekjin has one-upped Sieun, a recovered Baekjin hits the final punch, knocking off The Union’s leader once and for all. This was Sieun’s master plan, after all!
