With his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling done, when will we see Jeff Cobb debut in WWE?
Jeff Cobb wrapped up his contract with New Japan Pro-Wrestling on April 19. Cobb has been on WWE’s internal roster list for quite some time. Cobb has had a lot of fun with this news over the last couple of months, but the jokes and teasing will be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Cobb is expected to start with WWE soon and possibly as soon as tomorrow’s Backlash premium live event in St. Louis.
Johnson states that Cobb is expected to be backstage at Backlash, but it’s currently unknown if he’ll appear on camera or not. Despite that, creative for his debut has been discussed internally in WWE for weeks now.
