Reduced to four fights with the late cancellation of the light heavyweight clash between Rodolfo Bellato and Paul Craig, the first three bouts of the main card all went the distance. Melquizael Costa earned his third win of 2025 and fourth consecutive victory overall in a competitive, entertaining scrap with Julian Erosa, while Nursulton Ruziboev collected his second win of the year by out-hustling Dustin Stoltzfus to move to 4-0 at middleweight in the UFC.
That was followed by recent TUF winner Mairon Santos registering a dominant win over Sodiq Yusuff as the two moved up to lightweight, setting the stage for the captivating welterweight main event, where the unbeaten Dana White’s Contender Series graduate stormed through Burns, finishing the Brazilian veteran in under four minutes to announce his arrival as a serious threat in the welterweight division.
