FULLERTON, Calif. – Coach Dedrique Taylor and the Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball team have signed another recruit for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Junior guard Joshua Ward has officially committed to Fullerton where he will be transferring in from Palm Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL.
When asked about where he feels Ward would have the biggest impact moving into next year Coach Taylor stated “Defense, defense, defense! Josh was 1st team all defense, he brings a great physical and athletic presence with him.”
Along with the physicality, Coach Taylor also mentioned that “I am infatuated with his ability to play in the open floor and get to the rim. His energy, character and most of all work ethic will be on full display in a Titan uniform.”
Ward leaves Palm Beach University where he was named to the All-SSC Second Team and the All-SSC Defensive Team while leading the Sailfish in scoring, assists, and steals per game.
