First: As I’ve mentioned in Drinks With Broads, enjoying Tom Cruise is one of my Toxic Traits. BUT LISTEN, THIS MAN MAKES A GOOD ACTION MOVIE! I also appreciate that he made a video specifically telling people how to turn off motion-smoothing and his Insta last week was all telling folks to see Sinners in the theatre. He’s an imperfect creature! Don’t marry him! But I will go see a Mission: Impossible in the theatre and I’m sorry but Top Gun: Maverick was MY best picture that year!! (Okay, I’m not mad about Everything Everywhere All at Once.) Anyway, all of that is to say that I appreciate that we’re getting a big press push for the last M:I and I especially appreciate that Pom Klementieff is still doing her thing.
