Since her reported split from fiance Jonathan Davino, Sydney Sweeney has been in the headlines for her personal life. Most recently, the Hollywood starlet was spotted enjoying herself at the three-day Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California. What truly caught attention, though, was her company, The Housemaid co-star Brandon Sklenar. The duo’s cosy moments together at the event have sparked fresh buzz and turned heads.
In a now-viral video from the country music festival, the two were seen vibing together, as reported by the Blast. The short clip, originally shared on TikTok, showcased the Euphoria actress dancing closely with Brandon to the music during Creed’s set on Saturday, April 26, sparking immediate speculation about their bond.
While the two stars did not pack on PDAs to confirm anything romantic, fans could not just ignore their effortless chemistry and body language. Some people online also pointed out that Brandon somewhat resembled Sydney’s Anyone But You co-star, Glen Powell, another one of her rumoured flings. However, it is worth noting that Brandon is reportedly in a relationship with Courtney Salviolo.
The It Ends With Us star had been previously vocal about protecting their privacy. There has been no news of their breakup, which only adds to the intrigue behind Sydney’s relationship with Brandon.
Before Brandon, the 27-year-old American actress was linked to Glen Powell. The rumours intensified after the duo was spotted dining together at Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex restaurant in Dallas before attending Glen’s sister’s wedding, where she was a guest. Following this, a source close to the two came forward and revealed that Sydney and Glen were not in a “romantic” relationship.
“Nothing romantic is going on. They became close filming ‘Anyone But You’, and Sydney got close with his family as well,” the source told Entertainment Tonight. Later, Glen himself addressed the rumours during his appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, sharing that the actress is great friends with his sister.
All of this came after Sydney called off her engagement with her longtime partner, Jonathan Davino. The two, who began dating in 2018, decided to get engaged in 2022 and had plans to get married in 2024. According to sources close to Sydney and Jonathan, they were facing a challenging phase in their relationship, which led them to reconsider their future together. Following her breakup, Sydney is reportedly focusing on her career.
