The Conservatives are projected to keep the mostly rural riding of Hastings-Lennox and Addington-Tyendinaga.
The incumbent, Shelby Kramp-Neuman, was first elected in the riding in 2021 by more than 5,000 votes after now-former Conservative MP Derek Sloan swung it from the Liberals in 2019.
The riding stretches from Lake Ontario through Napanee, northern Belleville and Tweed before ending in Hastings Highlands and a tiny slice of Algonquin Park.
Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory also in the riding. Its presence has been noted in the riding name.
Part of Quinte West was shifted into the riding from Bay of Quinte during the last redrawing of the electoral map.
Its boundaries also previously changed in the redrawing that took place after the 2011 census. The Liberals had won by 225 votes in 2015 before the Conservatives won four years later.
Kramp-Neuman has been a financial adviser, Global Affairs worker, teacher and deputy mayor of Centre Hastings.
Five candidates ran this time. Liberal Tracy Sweeney Schenk came in second.
