Renowned for showcasing Scotland’s culture and spirit, the Tattoo has enthralled audiences with massed pipes and drums, Highland dance, vibrant displays of tartan, and breathtaking precision performances for 75 years.
The Suncorp Stadium shows on 12 and 14 February 2026 mark the exclusive Australian leg of The Heroes Who Made Us and are expected to be in high demand.
With more than 1,000 performers from across the globe, The Heroes Who Made Us promises a stadium spectacular like no other, combining stirring music, precision drills, and cultural displays.
RACQ Managing Director and Group CEO David Carter said the Club was honoured to be part of this exciting chapter in Queensland’s history.

The Tattoo’s origins can be traced back to 1949 when Something About a Soldier was performed as part of The Edinburgh International Festival of Music and Drama.
The inaugural Edinburgh Tattoo was held the following year and attracted more than 100,000 spectators across 20 performances on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, laying the foundation for seven decades of remarkable shows.
The event became The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2010 when Queen Elizabeth awarded the ‘royal’ title in recognition of its 60th anniversary and a testament to its global cultural impact over the decades.
As the Tattoo celebrates its 75th anniversary, its milestone production The Heroes Who Made Us pays tribute to the individuals who shaped and supported its legacy while honouring local heroes dedicated to serving their communities.
