The management of Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP), Bengaluru, on Monday issued a public alert after discovering a fraudulent website falsely claiming to offer online ticket bookings for its safari, zoo, and butterfly park services.

According to the park authorities, the only legitimate platform for online ticket booking is the official website: www.bannerughattabiopark.org. Visitors are urged to avoid using any other sites or third-party links, as doing so could lead to financial loss, personal data theft, and invalid ticket purchases.

The BBP management is collaborating with law enforcement agencies to identify and take legal action against the creators of the fake website.

“We request the public to stay vigilant,” said Surya Sen A.V., Executive Director, BBP, in a release. The release urged people to always double-check the URL before making any payments and report any suspicious websites or links to the BBP authorities immediately.

The park emphasised that public cooperation is vital in curbing such fraudulent activities and protecting both the park’s integrity and visitor safety.
