The evangelical Christian group “Evangelicals for America” — previously “Evangelicals for Harris” — issued a public apology on Tuesday for utilizing footage of the late evangelist Rev. Billy Graham in political ads backing former Vice President Kamala Harris through the 2024 presidential marketing campaign.
In an announcement posted on social media, the group acknowledged that it didn’t receive permission from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Affiliation (BGEA) earlier than utilizing the clips.
