A massive rumour was put to bed the second Kylie Jenner hit the Met Gala 2025 red carpet without boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.
There had been serious speculation that the couple would make their red carpet debut together at the luxurious fashion event, which both stars have attended before.
Sadly, it wasn’t to be.

Instead Jenner arrived with a different man on her arm; none other than Maximilian Davis, who looked dapper in a classic black suit.
The illustrious British fashion designer has been the creative director of Salvatore Ferragamo since March 2022, the label behind Jenner’s chic black and grey outfit.
She walked the red carpet in a fitted black corset with sheer panelling, which fit beautifully over a textured grey herringbone skirt and halter-neck bustier.

The billionaire Kylie Cosmetics founder accessorised with a satin-look shawl and sheer black gloves and wore her dark hair in an elegant twist atop her head.
Overall, the outfit seemed to suit the theme of Tailored for You’ – a nod to the focus on menswear and suits that comes with the exhibition theme ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ – pretty well.

As for what her actor beau Chalamet would have worn to fit this year’s theme, it seems like we’ll never know.
Jenner herself arrived towards the end of the red carpet and it’s unlikely Chalamet would arrived after it was all done and dusted.

Some high-profile stars prefer to skip the red carpet and arrive right as the gala itself begins, sneaking in without all the fanfare, but Chalamet has not done so in previous years.

While Jenner has chosen to sneak into a few high-profile Hollywood events to support Chalamet in the last few months, it seems unlikely that he will do the same today.
For now, it looks like fans will just have to keep waiting for these two A-listers to make their romance red carpet official.
