Manchester United are two games away from saving their season to a certain extent but for one of their loanees, his career has already been saved and he’s not shy about letting people know about it.
Success stories have been plenty at Man Utd this season despite it being a season straight from hell, especially in the Premier League.
Some have broken through at Old Trafford, like Harry Amass, or the ascent to stardom status for Amad, while some have needed to leave the club.
One of the biggest ones falls in the latter category, and he’s now claimed that he’s living the “best moments of my life” since leaving the club.

Antony makes Man Utd claim
Since coming to Europe, Antony has played for only three clubs – Ajax, Manchester United, and now Real Betis.
Therefore, for him to say that he had ‘very good moments’ at Ajax and is now loving life at Real Betis speaks volumes about how he views his spell in England.
Antony recently hinted fans didn’t make it easy for him to succeed at United either, and that confidence he’s regained in Spain is seeing him thrive.
Spanish outlet AS reports Antony’s comments ahead of the European fixture for Betis in the Conference League, as the Brazilian said he’s living his best life in Betis.
He said: “When I got to the Betis I wanted to make history, to be fighting for these things and I’m very happy to play a semifinal in the Betis shirt. I’m prepared physically and mentally for the game.
“I did have very good moments at Ajax, but physically and mentally, happy as I am here… I think I’m living the best moments of my life.
“Entering the history of the club would be a dream and I want to write my name in the history of the Betis. I don’t know what’s going to happen at the end of the season, but I just know I’m very happy here.”
It’s over for Antony at Man Utd
If there was any sliver of doubt that Antony could leverage his renewed confidence and form to start a new chapter at Man Utd, these comments should leave nobody in doubt as to why it won’t happen.
The winger has been a player transformed away from the vicious cycle at United and it’s pretty much a guarantee that he will revert to his poor levels in a United kit.
A loan player saying he wants to ‘write my name in history’ for a club he’s only been at for six months proves that he’s already checked out of United mentally.
The next step is to check out physically and that should happen in the summer, while United will just hope that they can recoup at least some percent of their outlay on the player.
The wildly successful loan has ensured that it isn’t such a wild thought anymore.
