Many celebrities use social media to give fans a glimpse into their daily lives and to show them how they celebrate holidays at home. John Travolta shared a rare peek inside of his family’s home in Florida in the cutest way possible this weekend; he featured the family’s dog, Peanut!
The award-winning actor shared a photo on Instagram of Peanut inside his bedroom on Easter Sunday, along with a ‘Happy Easter’ from him and his children, Ella, 25, and Ben, 14, whom he shares with his late wife, Kelly Preston. And while Peanut looks like she might be considering devouring the Lindt Easter bunny, John reassures everybody by saying, “Not to worry, she won’t eat the chocolate bunny.”
I guess Peanut’s just a curious pup! John’s fans left nearly 1,000 comments, about how cute Peanut is and wishing the Travolta family a Happy Easter as well. @Lourdesc218 joked, “Happy Easter to all, Peanut is wonderful and wondering, “Who’s on my bed?!” LOL!” @jgergen60 added, “A little honey and a little bunny!”

Peanut has been with the Travolta family since 2022. PEOPLE shared that John adopted the dog for his son Ben after Jamie Lee Curtis brought her onstage during a segment dedicated to Betty White and her dedication to animal welfare at the 94th Academy Awards in 2022.
But Peanut wasn’t always named Peanut! The dog, who was found dumped outside of an animal shelter along with her mom and three siblings, was initially given the name Mac N Cheese. Honestly, we think Peanut suits her way better!
