Is Saturday Night Live New Tonight, April 19, 2025? Host and Musical Guest

We’re quickly approaching the end of Saturday Night Live‘s historic Season 50, which has brought a strong slate of fresh episodes amid the many SNL50 celebrations marking a half century on NBC.

The past three weeks alone have delivered back-to-back new shows, with Anora Academy Award-winner Mikey Madison first up with her SNL debut on March 29. The amazing Jack Black brought his signature high energy and willingness to sing just about anything to his fourth stint on April 5 (we’re still not over the “Flamin’ Hot” commercial), which featured incredible performances from Musical Guests Elton John and Brandi Carlile.

And on April 12, Your Friends and Neighbors star Jon Hamm returned for his own fourth time hosting, his first since 2010, when he hosted twice. But Hamm could certainly be considered “a friend of the show,” as they say, given that he’s made *14 cameos* since then.

“You know, in many ways, making a cameo is even more special than being the Host — which is something Lorne’s told me many times, always right before he loses service going into the tunnel,” Hamm joked during his monologue. “He’s always in that tunnel!”

Hamm’s latest episode brought a new Easter cold open starring James Austin Johnson’s Donald Trump and the (frozen in place) cast, as well as the viral “The White POTUS” sketch featuring Scarlett Johansson and former cast members Alex Moffat and Beck Bennett returning as Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, respectively.

But what’s in store for this weekend’s episode? Get the details below.
