Apple’s next big iPhone launch is just a few months away, and the excitement is already building. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to be unveiled in September 2025, alongside the regular iPhone 17 and a new ultra-thin model, iPhone 17 Air. Leaks suggest major design changes, powerful cameras, and impressive performance upgrades for Apple’s premium smartphones.

As per Apple’s usual pattern, the iPhone 17 series launch event is likely to take place between September 11 and 13, 2025. Pre-orders should begin soon after the announcement, with availability expected within a week or two.

This time, the price tags could be noticeably higher. The iPhone 17 Pro may cost around Rs 1,39,999, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max might be priced at Rs 1,64,999 in India. Rising tariffs and global economic shifts are said to be behind this increase.

The iPhone 17 Pro will retain its 6.3-inch display, and the Pro Max will continue with a 6.9-inch screen. However, Apple may replace the titanium frame with aluminium and introduce a half-glass back for a refreshed look. The rear camera module could shift from a square bump to a broader rectangular layout.

Alongside classic shades like Black, White, and Gold, Apple might introduce a Sky Blue variant – similar to the M4 MacBook Air color.

One of the biggest improvements is expected in the camera department. The front camera may jump to 24MP, while all three rear lenses – Wide, Ultra Wide, and Telephoto – could feature 48MP sensors. Apple may also debut 8K video recording, dual video mode, and a mechanical aperture for better low-light and portrait shots.

Powering these models will likely be the A19 Pro chip, built on a 3nm process for improved efficiency. RAM could increase to 12GB, and reverse wireless charging (up to 7.5W) might finally arrive. Fast wired charging is expected to stay at 35W.
