Rapidly rising floodwaters at Veterans Park in Moore prompted flash flood warnings Saturday morning, with water depths reaching 8–10 feet as dangerous conditions unfolded.

Heavy rain and flash flooding have stalled cars and shut down roads near Gaylord Stadium in Norman, prompting officials to urge drivers to stay off the roads. Flash flood warnings are in effect for Moore and Norman, with more rain expected to worsen conditions through the afternoon.

Grady County, Oklahoma, and areas south have seen “incredible” amounts of flooding Saturday morning.
The threat flooding threat currently extends as far north as Norman.
Several News 9 Storm Trackers are out monitoring the roads in Southwest Oklahoma.
Jeromy Carter reported near Dibble and showed ponding on the side of the roads.
News 9 Storm Tracker Tom Pastrano reported from Norman Saturday and said water is rising and roads are very wet.

News 9 Storm Tracker Jeromy Carter reported on intense rain south of the Oklahoma City Metro Saturday morning.
Carter spotted ponding on the roads in Purcell.
Flash flood warnings are in effect in the southern part of the state and Lawton is experiencing severe flooding.
