Fans will have to wait until The Final Reckoning hits theaters to know if this is the final Mission: Impossible movie. Should it be the franchise finale, Cruise is going out with a bang as he continues to test every possible limit with his stunts. Cruise legitimately hangs off a plane at 8,000 feet during one crucial scene in The Final Reckoning and features in an underwater sequence which nearly suffocated him during filming. Cruise’s penchant for perfecting his stunts was so evident that director Christopher McQuarrie had to stop him from reshooting them.
