The Golden State Warriors were a trendy pick to out-perform their seed in the 2025 NBA playoffs, and the start of their first-round series did nothing to dissuade the skepticism surrounding the Houston Rockets heading into a pivotal Game 2 on Wednesday night.
Led by Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler, the Warriors held off the Rockets, 95-85, and stole home court advantage in the series after building a 23-point lead in the third quarter of a low-scoring Game 1.
