According to a post Tuesday afternoon by adult film producer and DJ Chi Chi LaRue, popular adult film star Colton Ford (Glenn Soukesian) has died. He was 62. Posts have begun to appear on social media expressing condolences.
One post wrote, “Ford’s friend Tim Wood confirms it was the result of a weekend hiking accident.”
Colton Ford embodied the alpha muscle daddy archetype in his adult films. He then moved into dance and pop music, releasing three full-length albums. His foray into mainstream television included his role as the sheriff for three seasons on the series The Lair on the here! network.
He spoke with Dallas Voice ahead of his 2010 performance at the Dallas Eagle where he discussed his venture away from film into music.

“I hope people walk away saying I did my own thing and that I didn’t let social norms dictate what was good for me — and a fabulous musician,” he said.
