Sky has released a first-look at they upcoming festive film Tinsel Town which is coming to UK streaming channel Sky Cinema later in the year.
Kiefer Sutherland (Designated Survivor, 24) and actress, writer and producer Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids, Pitch Perfect, JoJo Rabbit) are in the lead roles with the cast also including the likes of Katherine Ryan, Derek Jacobi, Mawaan Rizwan, Maria Friedman, Jason Manford, Asim Chaudhry, Danny Dyer, Ray Fearon, Alice Eve, Lucien Laviscount, James Lance, and Meera Syal.
According to the official press release, Sutherland plays Bradley Mack, a failed Hollywood action star who ends up in a small, snow-dusted village to star in the town’s eccentric production of Cinderella. Here, he encounters a colourful cast of oddball locals who slowly come to hold a special place in his heart, including no-nonsense choreographer Jill (Wilson).
The screenplay is by Frazer Flintham, Adam Brown and Piers Ashworth with additional material by Jake Brunger, and is directed by Chris Foggin (Bank of Dave).
Filming took place earlier this year in the UK, including in Harrogate where the stars were spotted.
A Christmas 2025 release date has been set for the premiere on Sky Cinema. More as we get it.
