Energy was restored to ComEd prospects within the western suburbs after a communications fell on energy traces Friday morning and left hundreds at nighttime. County.
The outage was attributable to a communications tower falling on ComEd energy traces close to Schmale and St. Charles roads in Carol Stream, the utility confirmed. They mentioned the communications tower doesn’t belong to ComEd.
Energy was misplaced round 11:15 a.m. Friday for many prospects. On the peak of the outage Friday afternoon greater than 26,000 ComEd prospects had been with out energy in Wheaton, Carol Stream, Winfield, Hannover Park and Addison.
