The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski and optioned right-hander J.P. Feyereisen, the team announced Thursday.

Wrobleski provides reinforcements to a depleted Dodgers rotation. The southpaw has a 4.15 ERA with 24 strikeouts and 1.52 WHIP across six starts this season with Triple-A Oklahoma City; however, Wrobleski struggled mightily in the majors.
The 24-year-old was called up early in 2025 as Blake Snell was placed on the injured list with left shoulder inflammation. However, Wrobleski’s outing was less than ideal as he allowed eight earned runs across five innings pitched against the Washington Nationals.
“For whatever reason today, the stuff just didn’t feel great,” Wrobleski said after the game in April. “Command wasn’t where it should be. It’s frustrating to have that kind of result when I’ve been throwing the ball so good. You just have to take the positives – if there are any – and keep moving.
“I just come up here and try to do my job. Whenever they give me the ball just continue to try to get better each outing. Get through this one. This one’s tough. It hurts. It sucks. When you’re a competitor you don’t want this to happen. But at the end of the day it’s just about doing your job when you’re called upon and today I didn’t do a good job of that.
The left-hander rejoins the big league team with a 14.40 ERA and 2.200 WHIP because of his poor start. The hope is that Wrobleski’s second stint in the majors this season is better than before.
