CBSE’s changed post-exam process to kick in for students seeking revaluation

Nagpur: CBSE students of who are looking for revaluation of their marks, have to follow new process introduced by the board. The simplified process now starts with students applying for a photocopy of their answersheets.Once they go through the answersheets, they can apply for re-verification of marks and/or revaluation.The state SSC board already follows this process, so nothing changes for them. The results for SSC and CBSE 10 and 12 was declared on the same day (May 13). For state board students wanting to appear in June-July supplementary exam, the last date for application (without late fee) is May 24. With late fee, students can fill the application form till May 29.Meanwhile, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced new provisions for supplementary examinations in 2025. Students of Class X and XII will have additional opportunities to enhance their academic performance through these supplementary exams, which are set to begin in July 2025, in accordance with the board’s updated evaluation system.CBSE has extended the supplementary examination option to Class 10 students across all subjects. This provision benefits students who did not achieve their desired results in the main examinations. These supplementary examinations offer students an additional opportunity to improve their academic standing, which could benefit their future educational pursuits.For Class 12 students, the board has implemented a single-subject improvement option through the July 2025 supplementary examinations. This specific provision enables students to enhance their performance in one chosen subject, which is particularly beneficial for those seeking admission to prestigious institutions or specific career opportunities where individual subject scores are crucial.
