The fourth instalment in the ‘Captain America’ franchise, ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, is set to release on JioHotstar on May 28. The movie features the famous Hollywood actor Anthony Mackie, cast as Captain America for the first time.
Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ dominated the box office with an $88.5 million debut. According to Deadline, the film grossed over $415 million worldwide.
The highly anticipated film continues the journey of Sam Wilson as the new Captain America, played by Anthony Mackie.
The movie is directed by Julius Onah. ‘Brave New World’ also features a star-studded cast including Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake.
The film was produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, with Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers. The movie, after its release, received criticism; however, Anthony Mackie was praised.
Entertainment writer Chris Gallardo showered praise on Mackie and mentioned, “[‘Brave New World’] proves Anthony Mackie has RIGHTFULLY EARNED the role of Captain America. He puts it all in as Sam Wilson and his chemistry with Danny Ramirez is great! Harrison Ford as President Ross/Red Hulk is charming, and the action really rocks when it happens (sic).”
Marvel fans can mark their calendars for the release of ‘The Fantastic Four: First steps’. It will be released in theatres on July 25, 2025.
