YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader R.K. Roja has alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was resorting to deceptive tactics to cover up his failure to keep his promises.
She described the arrest of former Intelligence Chief P.S.R. Anjaneyulu as ‘shameful distraction politics’, alleging that the move intended to hide Mr. Naidu’s failure to keep the promises.
Addressing the media at the YSRCP office on Tuesday, Ms. Roja claimed that Mr. Naidu’s policies had harmed farmers and fuelled land, liquor, and mining scams, creating chaos in Andhra Pradesh. “Mr. Naidu is protecting the corrupt police,” she said.
The former Minister questioned the decision to stop the probe into the skill development scam and dared Mr. Naidu to allow a CBI investigation into the cases against him.
Ms. Roja criticised the Chief Minister for ‘politicising’ the Tirumala laddu issue, adding that the ‘case was dismissed by the Supreme Court’.
Condemning the government’s denial of 191 cow deaths in the TTD-run goshala and 25 tortoise deaths in Srikurmam, she sought to know why Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan was silent on these issues.
