The first Monday in May, which plays host to the annual Met Gala, is fast approaching and for fans of the event, we may have just received our biggest hint yet that Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are set to make their red carpet debut together.
Attending the LA Lakers’ game against the Minnesota Timberwolves last night in Los Angeles, the pair looked characteristically smitten with one another as they sat court side at the sporting event.

Yet, scratch the surface of their appearance and it may well offer a hint as to what we can expect from the couple at the Met Gala in just a matter of days. The couple is clearly feeling not only more comfortable in their own relationship, but also being seen in public with one another, which was reportedly a reason that Jenner has refrained throughout the course of their relationship from appearing on the red carpet with her beau. Following on from their watching tennis in March and their Coachella appearance in April, it seems only fitting that a May public appearance from the couple may well occur on the gilded stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on its glitziest night of the year.
Jenner and Chalamet were first spotted together on January 25, 2023, when they were seen enjoying one another’s company at Paris Fashion Week during the Jean Paul Gaultier show. This was allegedly their first meeting, and gossip account DeuxMoi later shared a video of them laughing together once rumours started circulating that they were more than friends.
Fast forward two years and while the couple have made a string of public appearances together, they’re yet to make their official red carpet debut side-by-side, which fans are hoping may change at this year’s Met Gala. Watch this space!
