4Warn Weather – After a frosty start for some early on Sunday morning, we will see some sunshine and warmer temperatures looking ahead to the end of the weekend.
High pressure will continue to control the forecast as we look ahead into our Sunday, so expect plenty of sunshine. Temperature is getting warmer into the afternoon, high temperatures heading into the middle 60s by Sunday afternoon.
We will bring in a little more cloud cover overnight tonight into early on Monday morning, partly cloudy skies can be expected. Overnight lows dropping into the middle 40s, so not as cold as what we’re looking for early on Sunday morning.
The sunshine will continue looking ahead into the start of the week on Monday, and with a southerly flow kicking in, temperatures will continue to get even warmer. High temperatures heading for the lower 70s by Monday afternoon.
Our next chance of thunderstorms looks to roll into the region as we work into our Tuesday. Any threat for severe weather, as of right now has shifted just to the east of Metro Detroit down into the Ohio Valley, but we could see some much-needed rainfall moving into the region. High temperatures, much warmer before that cold front rolls through that triggers the thunderstorms. High temperatures heading into the lower 80s by Tuesday afternoon.
Drier weather returns for the middle of the week on Wednesday, but we will cool things down near reasonable temperatures. High temperatures returning to the low end of the 60s by Wednesday afternoon.
Looking heading to the end of the week, we do bring the chance of rain showers back into the forecast for Thursday and Friday, high temperatures remaining near average into the low to mid 60s both days, before we dry things out looking ahead into the start of next weekend on Saturday. Temperature is getting just a tad bit colder, only making it into the upper 50s for the start of next weekend.
